Teaching Enhancement Grant (TEG)

Provides monetary support for scholarly projects that investigate and aims to improve teaching and learning practices.

The Teaching Enhancement Grant provides monetary support for scholarly projects that investigate and aim to improve teaching and learning practices. This grant is intended to promote reflective and outcomes-based teaching and learning.

Application is open once a year to all faculty teaching members of NUS. Please note that group projects can also involve colleagues from different departments/faculties.

There are 3 categories for application of TEG funding:

  1. Projects that will be completed in 1 year’s time;
  2. Projects that are more extensive and longitudinal and will be completed in 2-3 years’ time; and
  3. Education conference grant, subject to abstract acceptance at an education conference.
