Developing a Teaching Portfolio

Course Format

The course consists of 3 sessions. The three sessions are interconnected and colleagues are encouraged to register and attend all three sessions, in sequence.

  • Session 1 provides an introduction to the teaching portfolio, considers high quality teaching, and focuses on the teaching philosophy statement. [Materials]
  • Session 2 follows up on session1 to craft and revise a personal teaching philosophy, identifies levels of impact and domains of evidence, and introduces reflective case narratives. [Materials]
  • Session 3 builds on session 2 to reflect on multiple sources of evidence and develop a coherent personal reflective case narrative. [Materials]
