PDP-T aims to provide a collegial environment for early career academics to explore and reflect critically on their teaching practice with the aim of improving the quality of their students' learning
Elective workshops focus on various aspects of teaching and learning. Participants can make choices from designated workshops offered as part of CDTL’s Continuing Professional Development Programme based on interest and relevance to their disciplinary context. Each participant must complete 16 hours’ worth of workshops. By the end of this component of PDP-T, you should be able to:
describe teaching and learning strategies relevant to your own disciplinary context with reference to learning outcomes, teaching and learning activities, and assessment;
assess those strategies with reference to your students’ learning needs and your teaching; and,
critically apply the strategies in the context of your own teaching and your students’ learning.
